New York Market Week: Accessories

We’re seeing a lot of newness in the men’s accessories market. Keep an eye out for our accessories section in MR’s August issue, but in the meantime, check out some cool brands and products from New York market week.

Mr. Gray

Mr Gray

From the creator of Canadian retailer Roden Gray, Mr. Gray is a sock collection in its second season. I loved their very on-trend “no-show” socks with silicon grip to prevent sliding ($18 retail). Peds are packaged individually in cylinders, and like they did with Ron Herman, they’ll work with stores on creating custom packaging.


Founded in January 2012, Wood’d is an accessories collection comprising smart phone and tablet covers, money clips, bracelets and key chains handmade from either wood or leather. I loved these wooden iPhone covers ($40 to $50 retail) that were shown in their showroom’s booth (Hive Showroom) at MRket.

Anderson’s Heritage Collection



Anderson’s Heritage Collection is an Italian belt company known for multi-color stretch leather belts ($165 retail). Anderson’s showed at Project NY, and has been selling in North America for the past two years, already in top stores like Harry Rosen, Fred Segal and Haberdash.


Its first season selling in the U.S., Enter is a three-year old Swedish accessories brand offering three collections of bags. The Lifestyle collection wholesales from $32 to $45, the Classic collection wholesales from $55 to $65 and the Heritage collection wholesales from $70 to $220.

Herschel Supply Co.

Always a favorite, Herschel Supply Co.’s Studio Collection is made from white and black tarpaulin (so styles are waterproof), and feature details like leather zipper pulls, seamsealed construction and waterproof zippers. The Studio Collection is sold at stores like Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s (retails range from $50 to $160).
