Agentry PR will launch the 13th bi-annual menswear New York Men’s Day (NYMD) collective presentations, to kick-off NYFW: Men’s on February 3rd. Returning to Location 05 and The One Club for Creativity Inc, right next to the newly-opened Hudson Yards on the west side of Manhattan between Chelsea and Midtown, NYMD will be debuting five new emerging brands as well as five returning designers with their fall/winter 2020 collections.

Conceived to nurture emerging talent and to consolidate top menswear designers in an easy-to-view venue, NYMD will feature collections from ten emerging designers collectively for the fall/winter 2020 season. Participating designers include APOTTS, Carter Young, HIM NYC, Ka Wa Key, Le Tigre, Mined on Denim, Official Rebrand, R. Mutt by David Hart, Timo Weiland, and Todd Hessert.

Sperry returns this season as a sponsor, where it will also celebrate its 85th anniversary. “Sperry are thrilled to return to NYMD as a sponsor for the third season,” said Kate Minner, CMO of Sperry. “As one of America’s most iconic footwear brands, it is important for Sperry to support this important event on the New York fashion calendar which provides a platform for emerging menswear labels to show their collections to the world’s most influential journalists, stylists, and influencers.”

Coming on board for the first time as sponsors, BN3TH x Tencel will be presenting an Underwear Bar, showcasing the latest BN3TH (pronounced: ‘beneath’) styles in super-soft Tencel modal fibers. Other sponsors of NYMD include luxury hair brand, Oribe, as they return providing products and team members; Augment and Make-Up Pro will collaborate to provide make-up teams and products for designers to use on models during their respective presentations.

“Kicking off NYFW: Men’s in February, we can’t be more proud to debut the five new emerging brands presenting with us alongside the returning designers that have been with us for a number of seasons,” said Erin Hawker, founder of Agentry PR and NYMD. “Keeping our mission strong by providing a platform for new menswear talents, our diverse pool of presentations will return to the studios that are centrally located near Hudson Yards. The space provides over 15,000 square feet of white space to breathe fresh air to NYMD and allows each brand to create their own identity in their dedicated venue.”
