NIGEL SYLVESTER AND JORDAN BRAND HOST DINNER AHEAD OF COLLECTION LAUNCH

Yesterday, American professional BMX athlete, creative, and entrepreneur, Nigel Sylvester, co-hosted a celebrity-studded invite-only dinner with Jordan Brand to present their newest collaboration Brick-by-Brick. Held at The Standard, High Line and sponsored by Don Julio, the night brought together music, entertainment, fashion, celebrities, and influencers for a surprise fashion show of the Brick-by-Brick collection. The collection consists of new sneakers and apparel, with a March 14th release date.

Brick-by-Brick is inspired by the idiom that signifies building or achieving something gradually and carefully. For Nigel, this phrase carries both figurative and literal meaning. Figuratively, “Brick-by-Brick” symbolizes the challenges and triumphs that have shaped his journey. It reflects the perseverance and determination required to overcome obstacles and achieve greatness in both his BMX career and his broader creative endeavors.

The title serves as a nod to the storied reddish bricks that define the architectural fabric of New York City. The line is Nigel’s first apparel collection with Jordan Brand, including a brick-colored inspired shoe, a first-of-its-kind colorway for Jordan.
