NIKE HAS BEATEN LOUIS VUITTON, GUCCI, AND PRADA TO THE TITLE OF THE WORLD’S MOST VALUABLE FASHION BRAND, WITH A VALUE OF $37.9B!

New research, conducted by retail aggregator ThreadSpy, has analyzed market value, Google search volumes, and social media data to reveal the world’s most valuable fashion brands, and what percentage of the footwear, clothing , and jewellery market they dominate. You can view the research in full here, but the 10 most valuable fashion brands in the world are:

Nike beat high-end luxury labels and took the title of the world’s most valuable fashion brand, dominating the market with a value of $37.9B! The footwear company came in first with a near-perfect overall score of 9.87. Known for its iconic models such as Air Jordans and Dunks, Nike scored high across the board, racking up over 367M searches globally in the last year.  Just as popular on social media, the brand has also amassed over 305.5M Instagram followers, and over 4.8M followers on TikTok; outperforming any other brand in our study!

High-street label Zara is the world’s second-most valuable fashion brand, with a value of $13.9B and an overall score of 9.75! The Spanish multi-national clothing chain was the most searched-for brand last year, recording 386.50M searches. The brand is also one of the most popular on social media, with a cult following of 9.1 million people on TikTok, and an Instagram following of 60.9 million. The brand’s faux leather jacket was one of 2023’s biggest fashion trends, with shoppers flocking to buy the item after it was worn by influencer Molly-Mae.

Fashion powerhouse Louis Vuitton rounded off the top 3 as the third-most valuable brand globally, with a value of $33.1B. Known for their lavish bags and accessories, Louis Vuitton is hugely popular on social media, with a TikTok following of 11M and 54M followers on Instagram. The brand also has the highest brand value behind Nike, helping it rank as the third most valuable fashion brand in the world.

Longchamp was named the world’s most in-demand fashion brand of 2023, with the highest search increase of 40%globally.

Nike  was also crowned as social media’s most influential fashion brand, with a combined following of 310.27M.
