NORDSTROM FETES NEW TORONTO STORE

Last night, in an event that brought the whole of midtown Toronto to a glamorous standstill, Nordstrom celebrated the grand opening of its new Eaton Center store. The first of two store openings in Toronto this year, the celebration took place in-store across all four floors and across the street in a vast tent that housed two fashion shows with looks from various Nordstrom labels including Alexander Wang, Burberry, Marc Jacobs, Marchesa, Missoni, Lanvin and Loewe. Pete, Blake, Erik and Jamie Nordstrom were all in attendance, along with a slew of celebrities, supermodels and ‘Instagram sensation’ @deanthebassett, who had his very own front row pillow, see below.

At the in-store gala, guests were plied with plentiful beverages and nibbles from some of the best local restaurants and caterers, and DJ Jazzy Jeff supplied the soundtrack, along with various other performances throughout the new store’s 213,000 square-feet.
