Although the vast majority of shows and presentations at New York Fashion Week this week focus on womenswear, some designers and brands are showing a few men’s looks as well. At two separate presentations last night, LA-based denim brand Simon Miller, designed by Jake Sargent and Daniel Corrigan, showed guys’ get-ups in natural textures and a mostly warm palette inspired by the American Southwest while British brand AllSaints, designed by creative director Wil Beedle, offered a street-friendly spring ’16 collection that was a cool stylistic hodgepodge. To stress the collection’s DIY theme of “It’s Up to You,” AllSaints also street-casted its models instead of using professional ones.
