OUTERKNOWN LAUNCHES WORLD’S FIRST WOOL SURF TRUNK

Lifestyle brand Outerknown has created the world’s first trunk crafted from 100 percent Australian Merino wool.

Teaming with The Woolmark Company, Outerknown’s Woolaroo trunk is a throwback to the golden age of surfing, when trunks were considered equipment and made from a heavy twill fabric. Now, thanks to innovations in fiber, fabric, and manufacturing techniques, a high-performance wind and water-resistant fabric made from 100 percent Australian Merino wool hits the surf, with a strong environmental mission.

Made entirely out of nature’s original performance fiber, Merino wool’s natural benefits come into their own in the world’s first Woolaroo. Naturally breathable and resistant to odor, the Woolaroo is quick drying for post-surf comfort and the fiber’s natural softness and drape offers freedom to move in the waves and on the sand.
