OUTLANDER STARS SAM HEUGHAN AND CAITRIONA BALFE MEET FANS AT SAKS FIFTH AVENUE

Actors Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, the leads of the highly-rated Starz series Outlander, made a special appearance at Saks Fifth Avenue on Thursday April 7 as the retailer unveiled special storefront windows in honor of the show’s second season (which premieres on April 9). The windows will remain on display at Saks New York and Beverly Hills until April 11.

Fans of the show from around the world joined the pair, along with Saks Fifth Avenue chief merchant Tracy Margolies, Saks executive vice president of creative, Mark Briggs, Outlander executive producer Ronald D. Moore, and costume designer Terry Dresbach, to celebrate the momentous occasion.

Heughan, attired in Saks Fifth Avenue by Samuelsohn, and Balfe, who wore a Dior dress, Jimmy Choo shoes and a clutch by Dee Ocleppo walked the red carpet and greeted fans. The pair also graces the covers of Saks Fifth Avenue’s Spring 2016 Magalog, both sporting Gucci’s buzzed-about spring collection by Alessandro Michele.
