PANGAIA LAUNCHES RECYCLED CASHMERE COLLECTION

by Stephen Garner

PANGAIA has introduced a fresh take on its classic loungewear with the “Recycled Cashmere” collection.

The new range is made with, as the name suggests, a recycled cashmere blend – a super-soft fabric composed of 70 percent post-consumer recycled cashmere sourced from used garments collected in the U.S. and European Union.

By using existing fabrics (post-consumer) rather than factory offcuts (pre-consumer), PANGAIA is able to extend the lifespan of the fibers, while also tackling the issue of unutilized garment waste. This helps reduce the carbon footprint of the product and supports the transition to a circular economy.

The limited-edition collection includes recycled cashmere hoodies, trousers, beanies, and scarves in black, flamingo pink, pale grey mélange, cobalt blue, cornflower blue, marble green, and cream.

PANGAIA’s new Recycled Cashmere collection, which retails between $95 and $265, is now available.
