PARAJUMPERS FINDS INSPIRATION IN L.A. FOR SPRING CAMPAIGN

by Stephen Garner

Parajumpers has released its spring/summer 2020 campaign. Powered by the creative efforts of Naskademini and Marcus Troy, the campaign aims to capture the movement and intensity of the city of Los Angeles.

The spring/summer 2020 campaign is about exploring new frontiers and conquering challenges – whether it’s in a city like Los Angeles, the California wilderness, or the realm of outerwear design.

The adventurous image of the brand is shaped by the grit and energy of a city through “Portraits of L.A.”. Ready to face the challenges urban living, locals put their own spin on staple pieces and contemporary forms. Individuality and movement are a source of inspiration for the models, the campaign, and the seasonal collection.

For this season, comfort is modernized and emphasized in the collection with knits, fleeces and casual wear designed for functionality, durability, and high-style. Versatility and practicality are the drive behind puffers, padded parkas, featherweight, and sleeveless items. Hybrids serve as a bridge between the warmth of jackets and the freedom of knits. Oversized and relaxed pieces are a touch of the ‘90s in tech-fabrics. Blending contemporary forms and timeless design, color palettes mimic night in the metropolis – khaki, midnight blue, alarm red.
