Anatwine, a global online fashion network, has appointed menswear veteran Paul Rosengard as president of its North American business in support of its ongoing global expansion strategy, and will work out of the company’s recently opened New York office.

The UK-based technology and services company, which was founded in 2013 by Chris Griffin, possesses an impressive client portfolio, including House of Fraser, Zalando, La Redoute, Galeries Lafayette, Marks & Spencer, Adidas, Reebok, G-Star and Superdry.

Rosengard was most recently CEO of Boston Traders and previously held leadership positions at Perry Ellis International and Li & Fung North America, Group.

“Omnichannel shopping has meant that the quality of the overall customer experience, from online product availability to delivery, now dictates success or failure in online fashion retail,” says Rosengard. “The seamless way in which Anatwine connects brands and retailers, allowing them to deliver the perfect stock mix to their customers, is nothing short of transformational. I couldn’t be more excited than to place the next phase of my career at the burgeoning intersection of technology and fashion. And I look forward to working with Anatwine’s global sales director Matthew Purt and to building a U.S. team to launch this exciting online fashion network here in the U.S.”

Griffin, Anatwine’s CEO, added: “Paul is one of the most respected and well-connected leaders in the U.S. fashion market and we are very pleased that he will be joining the Anatwine team to head up our North American offering. We are very proud of our success in such a short period of time; a result of a very clear business focus and hard work. However, our ambition is to fundamentally transform the fashion retail model across the world, and in this regard North America is a market of significant importance.”
