Piloti, makers of performance, luxury and casual driving shoes and apparel, has extended its partnership with the organizers of the 2017 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg and 2017 Honda Indy Toronto. Piloti will outfit race staff at both as a result of the expanded program.

Piloti will engage with fans throughout the March 10-12 race weekend in St. Petersburg as well as July 14-16 in Toronto. Fans looking to pick up their own Piloti gear – with race-inspired details like vintage tire-tread soles, race-inspired stitching and die-cut ankle straps evoking perforated metal race pedals – will have the chance to do so at the Piloti merchandise shops on-site.

“The partnership with Piloti worked phenomenally for our Toronto event last year,” said Kevin Savoree, co-owner, president and COO of Green Savoree Racing Promotions, owner and operator of both races. “Piloti leads the pack when it comes to innovation and technology in footwear and apparel for both racers and casual drivers. We are thrilled to have Piloti on board again this year in Toronto, and very pleased that that our guests in St. Petersburg will now also be able to experience Piloti first-hand.”

“This partnership allows Piloti to demonstrate its passion for driving and motorsports to the amazing fans at these two historic races,” added Michelle Massicotte, managing director at Piloti.  “Each pair of Piloti driving shoes, with patented biomechanics, reflects this passion.”

First designed for racers and motorsport professionals, Piloti driving shoes became famous for the patented biomechanics that improved performance not only at the track, but also in long-distance racing. The patented Roll ControlT spherical heel improves traction in the footwell and reduces fatigue.
