PITTI HOSTS LUNCHEON IN NYC TO ANNOUNCE PLANS FOR JANUARY SHOW

Pitti Uomo CEO Raffaello Napoleone hosted lunch for New York City-based media and influencers last week at Ci Siamo in Manhattan West Plaza. The occasion was to announce plans for Pitti Uomo 107, which will occur from January 14 to 17, 2025, in Florence, Italy. The winter edition will spotlight Fall/Winter 2025 collections from 786 brands, 45% of which are international.

Satoshi Kuwata, of Setchu, is the Pitti Guest designer this season. Kuwata was the winner of the 2023 CNMI Fashion Trust Grant for independent designer and the 2023 LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers. He will present his first-evern fashion show at the Biblioteca Nazionale.

MM6 Maison Margiela, will also be a guest designer, presenting a men’s collection designed exclusively for the event.

The show will be divided into five sections: Fantastic Classic, Futuro Maschile, Dynamic Attitude, Superstyling, and I Go Out. This edition also sees the addition of the Knees Up Running Space, capturing the culture’s recently returned interest in running. Featured brands will include Alex Zono, Kuta Distance L.AB, NNormal, Portal, Raide Research, Soar, Tiempos, and Unna.

International collaborations at the show will include China Wave, featuring contemporary Chinese menswear via the China National Garment Association; the Scandinavian Manifesto: a partnership with CIFF, the premier trade fair of Scandinavian brands in Copenhagen; and J∞Quality: curated by the Japan Apparel and Fashion Industry Association.

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Trade Agency support the 2025 Pitti Immagine trade shows, providing crucial contributions to the incoming program for top international buyers and press.
