PLAN C TO DEBUT MENSWEAR COLLECTION AT PITTI
Women’s collection Plan C will launch its Spring/Summer 2025 menswear collection at the upcoming Pitti Uomo. The Sala delle Grotte will host a special project in collaboration with Fondazione Pitti Discovery presenting a preview of Plan C’s women’s collection, as well.
Thinking beyond trends and seasons, Carolina Castiglioni, the brand’s creative director, expresses her distinctive aesthetic through a minimalist wardrobe with a contemporary allure. Classic and high-tech, masculine and feminine, blend harmoniously into a look that transcends the concepts of gender and seasonality.
This June the designer will present a summer capsule collection of looks that can be easily mixed and matched, complemented by accessories like tote bags, backpacks, and sandals. By weaving together tailoring, sportswear, and utility themes, the brand skillfully reinterprets pieces according to masculine proportions. These are elements of an ideal wardrobe that grows season after season, designed to stand the test of time.
“We’re excited to host Plan C in Florence as one of the special events of the upcoming Pitti Uomo for the launch of its menswear collection,” says Lapo Cianchi, Director of Communications & Events at Pitti Immagine and Secretary General of Fondazione Pitti Discovery. “It is a project with a strongly contemporary identity and a tailor-made focus. We really like Carolina Castiglioni’s work and distinctive aesthetic. Her ongoing exploration of new dialogues and interactions between fashion, art, and design is modern and deeply inspiring”.
Castiglioni was born in Lugano, and is inspired by her mother, the founder of Italian fashion label Marni. She has developed a very distinctive aesthetic vision, along with a passion for beautifully crafted and meaningful things. In 2018, together with her father Gianni Castiglioni and her brother Giovanni, she founded Plan C. Creative disciplines deeply influence Carolina’s work, resulting in eye-catching signature graphics with a warm, human touch.
