It was a glorious celebration of friendship on Thursday evening as Catherine Loubier, Delegate General for the Quebec government, thanked business partners on the occasion of Quebec’s Fete Nationale. The event took place on a fabulous Fifth Avenue rooftop overlooking Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The rain finally stopped and the sun miraculously appeared just in time to enjoy cocktails and amazing hors d’oevres prepared by executive chef Dominic Sylvain.

Did you know that New York is Quebec’s number two trading partner, generating $8.3 billion in 2018? As Loubier graciously stated: “I want to thank you for your exceptional warm welcome as lead representative of Quebec in the U.S. As you may already know, la Fête Nationale holds a very special significance for Quebecers. We cherish similar values, we are trustworthy, we are neighbors and we care for our friends. Thank you for sharing this moment with us tonight and for your support throughout the year.”
