RAG & BONE DEBUTS ‘A NEW YORK STORY’ FOR FALL

by Stephen Garner

Rag & Bone has introduced “A New York Story,” a new series of imagery to coincide with the brand’s fall/winter 2020 collection.

Capturing the quintessential spirit of New York through an eclectic cast of characters, “A New York Story” is an intimate series of seven vignettes, representing a visual narrative around the city. Shot against the rawness of New York, each story serves to amplify a distinct mix of voices, all of whom embody their own sense of originality. “A New York Story” at its heart is about a city that remains resilient and strong through its own communities.

Photographed by Josh Olins, the campaign features a mix of talent including Debra Shaw, Adjua and Jabari Johnson, Keith William Richards, Morgan O’Kane, Tia Jonsson, Dien Kim, and Jordan Daniels.

“New York is our home and we wanted to celebrate the individuality and authenticity that’s rooted in this awesome city,” said Marcus Wainwright, founder and chief brand officer at Rag & Bone.

Grounded in the fusion of brand tenets American workwear, British-inspired tailoring, military, and sport, the fall/winter 2020 collection’s attitude comes from the easy mix of contrasting masculine and feminine silhouettes, and the distinctly Rag & Bone combination of uptown meets downtown.
