RALPH LAUREN LAUNCHES HOLIDAY CAMPAIGN, EXPANDS RALPH’S COFFEE CONCEPT WITH NEW POP-UP

by Stephen Garner

This holiday season, Ralph Lauren has launched a global, multi-brand campaign that celebrates the brand’s 50-year history and legacy through its most iconic and giftable products.

The classic American brand has partnered with an eclectic group of celebrities and influencers for the campaign, including Taylor Hill, Emmy Rossum, Cameron Dallas, Rachel Zoe, Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani, Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl, Nate Berkus and Iman. Each have curated a selection of their favorite Ralph Lauren products and will tell personal anecdotes and stories around giving and receiving the perfect gift.

This holiday season also marks the expansion of the brand’s Ralph’s Coffee concept. A pop-up filled with delicious sweet treats (and of course coffee) has opened at Ralph Lauren’s women’s flagship store located at 888 Madison Avenue in New York City.

Building on the success of the newly opened locations in Tokyo and Hong Kong, and the Ralph’s Coffee Truck in Rockefeller Center, Ralph’s Coffee has traveled uptown to set up shop on the Upper East Side.

In spring 2019, Ralph’s Coffee will open a permanent location in New York’s Flatiron district.

The shop will serve Ralph’s Coffee, Espresso, and Tea along with pastries, yogurts, and some of Ralph Lauren’s favorite sweet treats, made fresh daily at The Polo Bar. In addition, Ralph’s Coffee has partnered with Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery to offer a selection of their signature baked goods including brioche doughnuts, the Mah-Ze-Dahr Bar, and the Ralph’s Coffee Chocolate Sandwich, which will be available exclusively at the 888 location.

The Ralph’s Coffee pop-up features a communal ebonized table with generous seating, along with marble-top tables, antique bistro-style chairs, and green channeled banquettes. Fabrics from the Ralph Lauren Home collection will be showcased throughout, including a racing green floral wallcovering and green-and-white cricket stripe pillows. The waitstaff will wear Ralph Lauren striped shirts and knit ties in the Ralph’s Coffee signature green, along with denim and butchers’ aprons embroidered with the Ralph’s Coffee logo.

The Ralph’s Coffee pop-up will be open Monday through Saturday from 8 AM–8 PM and Sunday from 9 AM–7 PM.
