Randa Announces New Division Structure, Promotions

Randa Accessories has created four new product divisions and a new Key Accounts division, all overseen by Judy Person. She has been promoted from SVP of sales to EVP/group president. The new product divisions are Belts & Furnishings, Wallets & Seasonal, Neckwear & Jewelry and Luggage & Travel. The Swank division will now be fully integrated into the Randa structure.

We embrace change and have created a structure to support continued growth and success for not only Randa, but also for our retail and brand partners.”

Added Person, “Our new structure provides vertical expertise in each of our major product classifications. It also provides greater dedicated resources for each of our customers. We anticipate growth in sales, penetration and share of wallets for Randa and our partners. I am so proud to be part of this extraordinary company and to work closely with our inspirational and talented managers.”

With the new product divisions come new promotions: Terry Tackett, who was promoted to president of the Swank division in February is now president of the new Belts & Furnishings division; SVP of leather merchandising Ed Turner is now president of the new Wallets & Seasonal division; SVP of neckwear merchandising John Kammeier is now the president of the new Neckwear & Jewelry division; and SVP of luggage sales Frank Fenton is now the president of the new Luggage & Travel division. The Key Accounts division will be led by former VP of sales Al Jasman, who has been promoted to SVP. Also, VP of marketing Richard Carroll has been promoted to SVP of marketing and creative director.

Chief marketing officer David Katz, who was promoted to EVP, explained, “Our new structure focuses upon increased investments in intellectual property, vertical product expertise, and the ongoing creation of compelling products. Most importantly, it elevates our continuing commitment to our partners’ success.”

Other promotions include:

  • SVP of logisitics Randy Kennedy is now EVP and chief logistics officer
  • VP of sales Melissa Lawrence is now SVP of Neckwear & Jewelry
  • VP of merchandising Laura Drnek is now SVP of merchandising for Wallets & Seasonal
  • VP of sales for Swank Michelle Der is now SVP of sales for Belts & Furnishings
  • Cindi Smith is now VP of sales for Wallets & Seasonal
  • Maurice Paradiso is now VP of sales for Wallets & Seasonal
  • Kim Bearry is now director of sales for Neckwear & Jewelry
