RED WING HERITAGE AND ENGINEERED GARMENTS UNVEIL LIMITED-EDITION SHOP MOC OXFORDS

by Brett Edward Stout

A new collaboration between Red Wing Heritage and Engineered Garments revealed limited-edition Shop Moc Oxfords. The partnership blends Red Wing’s craftsmanship with Engineered Garments’ design philosophy, delivering a modern reinterpretation of a timeless classic.

Shop Moc Oxfords have been a staple at the brand all the way back to 1954. The new collection pays homage to that heritage by reimagining the shoe with Engineered Garments to create a versatile ankle-height Oxford for the contemporary wearer.

Each pair in the collection is meticulously constructed in the USA and features:

  • Storm Welt Construction: Enhances durability and water resistance while elevating the look of this collaboration.
  • Traction Tred Outsole: Known for its iconic zig-zag pattern and over 70 years of history, this outsole offers exceptional comfort and natural grip, perfect for all-day wear.
  • Premium Material Mix: Each pair is made from a unique, subtle patchwork of iconic Heritage full grain leathers and roughouts that were all tanned and produced in Red Wing, Minnesota by S.B. Foot Tanning Company, a subsidiary of Red Wing Shoe Co.
  • Premium Comfort: Each pair features a traditional Heritage leather insole with the added premium detail of a branded, leather-covered comfort pad in the heel

The collection includes three different colors that are subtle plays on classic Heritage leathers: Copper Remix, Camel Remix, and Triple Black. Each highlights some of Heritage’s most iconic leathers and Engineered Garments’ flair for mixing unique textures and colorways. These are designed to appear ‘solid colored’
