RED WING LAUNCHES ARTIST EDITIONS BOOTS
Red Wing Heritage has kicked off an all-new social-led activation called “Artist Editions,” partnering with notable artists to release custom versions of the brand’s iconic Heritage boots. The first Artist Editions style dropped earlier this week in partnership with renowned artist Gary Stranger.
The first release features the Red Wing Heritage Classic Moc with a custom embossing of Stranger’s “Scenic Route” artwork. Stranger’s craft and handmade artwork strongly resonates with Red Wing Heritage’s own craftsmanship and commitment to quality. The two have a shared ethos on “taking the scenic route,” to create something with intention.
Red Wing Heritage first worked with Stranger for its JXTA campaign in January 2023. He was selected as a partner artist to create a billboard that reflected the unique partnership between Red Wing Heritage and Juxtaposition Arts non-profit.
There will be a limited batch of 25 Classic Moc boots customized with Stranger’s artwork, his signature, and a serialized number (1-25). Customers will also receive a matching print, numbered and signed by the artist.
Stranger’s “Artist Editions” boot are available for purchase via NTWRK, for $600 retail.
Red Wing’s “Artist Editions” boots will be released in small-batch quantities, multiple times a year. Customers can learn about upcoming drops and how to purchase Red Wing Heritage’s social channels.
