Retailers Are Clamoring Over A Specific Kind Of Millennial
Retailers are clamoring for the attention of a group of consumers that’s growing in both number and power: millennial moms. Chick-fil-A recently launched a service called “Mom’s Valet” for parents with young children. The service lets parents order at the drive-thru with their children in the car with them, and then go inside where a Chick-fil-A employee will have a table ready — with however many high chairs they need — and serve them. Starbucks is also trying to cater to young parents. The coffee chain started stocking its UK stores with emergency diaper kits and trained its baristas to warm milk bottles and offer table service to parents with young children. Meanwhile Target’s CEO has been traveling around the country visiting the homes of millennial moms to better understand how they shop. Read more at Business Insider.
