Retailers Lose £10 Million Amid London Climate Change Protests

Retailers are being disrupted as the climate change protests continue to take place in central London. New West End Company, which represents retailers in London’s West End, labeled them as “hugely disruptive” and said the protests need to be brought under control as footfall numbers on Oxford Street and surrounds plummet. In addition, retailers in the area have reportedly lost £10 million in trade. The New West End Company has called on London Mayor Sadiq Khan and the police to take action against the protests.
