RON DORFF DEBUTS NEW MEN’S FRAGRANCE
Ron Dorff, a popular men’s brand in Europe, is crossing the pond to make its mark in the U.S.
Its first launch here in the States is Ron Dorff’s debut signature fragrance, created in partnership with Scent Beauty, the fragrance maker for such brands as Stetson, Dolly Parton, Cher, Well-Founded, The Phluid Project, and Sam Edelman.
Scent Beauty united the talents of Ron Dorff’s founder, Claus Lindorff with renowned Firmenich perfumer, Iliad Ermenidis, to create Discipline Sport Pour Homme: a fresh, green, and woody scent that represents the sophisticated sensibility of sport that is synonymous with the Ron Dorff brand.
Discipline Sport Pour Homme is being launched concurrent with the opening of the first Ron Dorff flagship store in the U.S., at 475 Broome St in New York‘s SoHo neighborhood. This launch will continue the momentum of the impressive sales growth for this legendary bodywear brand known for combining Swedish functionality with a sophisticated French urban style.
“We are thrilled to launch Ron Dorff’s signature scent with its debut in the U.S. market,” said Steve Mormoris, CEO of Scent Beauty. “Since its genesis in Paris and London, consumers worldwide have become obsessed with Ron Dorff fashion, and now can experience the brand with this breathtaking signature cologne. The American consumer will particularly embrace the European sophistication of this olfactory masterpiece straddling sports and fashion. The timing could not be more perfect to bring to market a beautifully crafted and designed cologne from such an authentic emerging brand as Ron Dorff.”
Discipline Sport Pour Homme is composed of a blend of crisp, vivid citrus notes, balanced by Nordic pine with undertones of lingering, intoxicating woody notes. The unique citrus blend of bergamot, lemon zest, cardamom and cucumber, combined with notes from the Arctic aims to capture the scent of the outdoors of Sweden.
“In the last two years, the US has become Ron Dorff’s number one market with over 35 percent of global sales and New York has become our number one online city in the world with 15 percent of sales,” added Claus Lindorff, founder and CEO of Ron Dorff. “This is why it makes strategic sense that our first fragrance is launched in the US, around the opening of our first US flagship store in New York.”
Customers will also be invited in-store to learn more about how the fragrance was created, and to experience the fragrance firsthand. Ron Dorff’s new flagship store will also feature a fragrance-inspired living herb wall on display throughout the weekend, from October 7th-9th.
