Salesforce Deploys Retail Consultants

No matter how “one-stop” marketing cloud providers attempt to make it, personalization still requires the personal touch. To that end, Salesforce announced the debut of a force of strategic retail consultants at this week’s National Retail Federation show in New York. “Retailers were among the first to monetize the Internet. It’s retailers at the forefront of any trends. They also face unique challenges in putting customers on the proper journeys,” says Meghann York, director of product marketing for Salesforce Marketing Cloud. “The people in professional services have really, really deep expertise with retail and with using Salesforce.” Read more at Direct Marketing News.
