Vancouver, Canada-based underwear brand Saxx has announced the addition of two industry veterans to its leadership team. Adrienne Moser joins as VP of product and Kathleen McNally as creative director. Along with the growth of their team, Saxx plans to expand their presence in the U.S. by opening a merchandising and design satellite office in Portland, Oregon in the first half of 2016.
Moser, a current board member, will be moving over to lead the Saxx product engine effective immediately. She will manage and provide leadership on merchandising and design as well as oversee all product development, production and sourcing. Adrienne brings over 25 years of senior executive experience running apparel product operations, most recently with Columbia Sportswear. She also led the product team at Patagonia for over 14 years and worked in other key executive roles at Nau and LaCrosse.
“Adrienne’s proven leadership, apparel, product know-how and approachable collaborative management style is exactly the type of leadership we need to continue to accelerate the Saxx brand,” said CEO Tim Bartels. “With Adrienne’s guidance, we are already well into our planning process for Spring 17 with a ton of new and fresh product concepts that will be coming to market.”
McNally brings more than 25 years of creative design management in the active sport and fashion industries at global powerhouses like Nike and Columbia, and has also worked on emerging companies and startups like Lucy.
“With a career focused on creative direction and product designed with the consumer always front and center, I am psyched to join the Saxx team,” McNally said. “I look forward to bringing our promise of extraordinary comfort to as many guys as possible, through progressive design, innovative thinking and a massive dose of fun and energy.”
