SCHMOOZING: ITALIAN TRADE AGENCY CHICAGO COLLECTIVE PARTY AT 167 GREEN
The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) sponsored an exclusive networking event on Monday evening after the Chicago Collective Men’s show for ITA-sponsored brands and their American retail partners at one of Chicago’s newest event spaces, 167 Green.
The event was also a tribute to Paola Guida, ITA Deputy Trade Commissioner, as she leaves her post at the end of this month. The most memorable point of the evening came when Paola made a touching and heartfelt speech to the gathering, and Collective VP Bruce Schedler led the crowd in a spirited toast. (Paola, it’s never arrivederci, only a presto.)
The rest of the magical evening featured wonderful views of the city, as well as delicious cocktails and cuisine, and, of course, a chance to mingle with the fabulous ITA team, Italian brand representatives, and some of America’s best menswear retailers.
