Men’s fashion designer John Varvatos and luxury men’s clothing specialty retailer Harry Rosen celebrated the opening of the newly launched Harry Rosen John Varvatos shop-in-shops with a special live concert by Canadian rock band Finger Eleven on October 7. The event welcomed more than 250 guests, fans and friends of the John Varvatos brand to experience an authentic rock show that celebrated John’s passion for music.

“I was thrilled to be in Toronto last night when Finger Eleven brought down Harry Rosen’s house,” said John Varvatos in a statement. “Growing up in Detroit, I spent a lot of time in Canada and it was great to return to Toronto once again. The city is so vibrant.”

Inspired by the John Varvatos store on The Bowery in New York City, formerly the punk rock mecca CBGB’s, the Harry Rosen Bloor Street flagship brings to life the two labels under the John Varvatos brand: John Varvatos Collection and John Varvatos Star USA. A sophisticated white backdrop showcases “Collection” alongside iconic black-and-white photographs of rock legends such as Slash and Kiss.

Larry Rosen, chairmen and CEO of Harry Rosen added, “We’ve worked with John Varvatos to really capture the brand’s music-centric lifestyle. It’s not just about the clothes, it’s a space dedicated to guys who love music. You’ll find Marshall amps, Fender guitars, and classic LPs. We think it’s one of the most dynamic shops for men’s fashion in Toronto.”
