SCHMOOZING: NYFWM OPENING NIGHT PARTY

[metaslider id=114805] The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and Cadillac hosted the official New York Fashion Week: Men’s opening night event on Monday, July 11 to kick off the week’s festivities at Cadillac House, the car brand’s new public space located on the ground floor of its NYC headquarters.

Guests mingled, enjoyed cocktails and beats by DJ Oli Benz culminating with an intimate performance by Oscar and Grammy Award winning artist, Common, playing classics including “The Light” and “Go” along with his new song, “Love Star.”

Notable guests include: Common, Jerry O’Connell, Shaun White, Kellan Lutz, Nick Cannon, Eric Rutherford, Travis Mills, Todd Snyder, Steven Kolb, Timo Weiland, Nick Graham, Ariel Ovadia, Shimon Ovadia, Nick Wooster and more.

The venue has now transformed into an official runway for NYFW: Men’s, called Platform 4, hosting shows by Timo Weiland, Gypsy Sport, EFM and more. Cadillac House will also be home to Retail Lab, a new program with the CFDA where Cadillac is providing tangible value to designers who are driving the fashion industry forward including a retail space in its new HQ. Retail Lab officially opens to the public on Friday, July 15 with Timo Weiland as the first designer.
