SCHMOOZING: PROJECT PEOPLE

[metaslider id=”142228″] What a fabulously upbeat Project and MRket show this week at the Javits Center, as retailers from around the country (and across the globe) came to NYC to seek out exciting product.

Coming off the first healthy holiday season in years, menswear merchants were looking for innovation and inspiration from designers who did not disappoint. We loved all the new luxury performance fabrics, the gradually evolving menswear silhouettes, softer construction and softer fabrics, new knits in tops, bottoms and sportcoats, sumptuous sweaters, the juxtaposition of dress up and dress down, fabulous outerwear (topcoats!) and so many artisan-inspired accessories. But most of all we love the people: menswear merchants and manufacturers who work hard and play hard, philosophers and visionaries with big ideas and even bigger hearts.
