Toronto independent specialty store GotStyle hosted an in-store shopping event in partnership with fashion trade shows Project and Coterie on Thursday, November 3.

Over 300 guests from Toronto’s fashion community turned up including famed music video director “Director X”, creative director Marcus Troy and fashion bloggers Jay Strut and Gracie Carroll.

Guests were treated to an eclectic mix of comfort food and cocktails while shopping the store’s two-level, 7,000-square-foot flagship boutique in the heart of Toronto’s historic Distillery District.

The event, which was established to fill the void of the now cancelled Toronto Fashion Week, will feature three large installations throughout space. Large mannequin displays were placed throughout the store, dedicated to Project, Coterie and new-and-emerging Canadian designers.
