SCHMOOZING: WP LAVORI CELEBRATES 30-YEAR ANNIVERSARY

On October 22, renowned Italian retail company, WP Lavori in Corso continued to celebrate its 30 year anniversary with a private in-store event at the WP Store Brooklyn. The event celebrated the launch of the U.S. debut of the BlueBlack Collection, previously reported on by MR; featuring 20 limited edition pieces.

To commemorate years of collaboration, 19 brands, including Barbour, Woolrich, Baracuta, Engineered Garments and Beams Plus, produced key styles from their respective collections with a new focus on the utilization of the colors blue and black.

Celebrity attendees included Tony Award winner Alex Sharp and Madam Secretary star Wallis Currie-Wood. Daiki Suzuki of Engineered Garments as well as Sandy and Emil Corsillo of The Hill-Side were amongst the list of designers that joined the WP team to celebrate years of successful collaboration, toasting with signature cocktails provided by Johnnie Walker Black Label Whisky.
