SEASALT ANNOUNCES NEW SHOP OPENING IN SHREWSBURY, NEW JERSEY

Creative Cornish clothing brand Seasalt has announced the opening of its newest shop. Seasalt Cornwall is bringing its coastal-inspired style to Shrewsbury, New Jersey.

The brand-new store will be located at 553 Broad Street, The Grove at Shrewsbury, New Jersey 07702, and will open its doors to a 120 square meter shop in a purpose-built, open-air shopping destination that doubles up as a hub for community activity, including public events, music, and yoga. This latest location builds on the success of an existing Seasalt shop in the US, with the first opening in Falmouth, Massachusetts, in September 2024. As a retailer with over 1,000 employees, the new shop demonstrates the brand’s continued support for physical stores.

The shop fit in Shrewsbury follows that of recent Seasalt openings and represents next-generation retail design for the brand, taking a tangible step forward with its sustainable credentials and reduced carbon footprint. Committed to putting actions behind words, the new shop has kept the current stone slip-clad shopfront as well as the industrial style interior of the building. All fixtures and fittings have been chosen for their sustainable features and with longevity and flexibility in mind. The interior fit will also feature artwork from both Cornwall and the US, with hand-printed artwork from Greg Lytle and his talented team from Philadelphia. This new retail experience will undoubtedly also attract a new customer audience who may not have discovered Seasalt yet.
