SOUTHERN TIDE TEAMS UP WITH RECESS PICKLEBALL TO LAUNCH LIMITED-EDITION COASTAL INSPIRED PADDLES

by John Russel Jones

Southern Tide has partnered with Recess Pickleball on a limited-edition collection of coastal-inspired pickleball paddles. The exclusive collection will be available on both Recess and Southern Tide’s websites for a limited time.
Pickleball has been named America’s fastest-growing sport in 2022. The goals of this partnership are to deliver beautifully crafted paddles — curated for both experienced and casual players — while bridging the gap between style and functionality and elevating the game. Like Southern Tide’s athleisure collection, which emphasizes style and comfort without sacrificing quality, each paddle in the collection is thoughtfully crafted with the highest industry standards.
“This exciting new collaboration showcases the shared passion and dedication Southern Tide and Recess possess for clothing and accessories that fit into our consumer’s active lifestyles,” states Carey Ann Campbell, CEO of Southern Tide. “Southern Tide’s active and coastal aesthetic paired with Recess’ craftsmanship and quality make for a perfect pickleball paddle for our customers.”
Recess Pickleball paddles are lightweight yet made to withstand the elements. They use the same highly condensed foam that is used in the tennis and golf industries. The Recess x Southern Tide collection, consisting of two new paddles, contains custom screen-print designs for both the competitive and social pickleball player. With a vivid navy colorway, the collection’s paddles are offered in a nautical stripe and gingham pattern. This collection was designed for the ultimate player that doesn’t want to sacrifice style. Prices start at $86.
“We’re so thrilled to announce this partnership after collaborating on design, preparation, and functionality,” said Maggie Brown, Founder/CEO of Recess. “Collaborating with Southern Tide was a no-brainer, as they share our core values on fitness, style, and excitement on joining the ever-growing pickleball community.”
The collection will be available on both companies’ websites at www.southerntide.com and www.recesspickleball.com, as well as Southern Tide stores and select retailers.
