STAMPD UNVEILS NEW COLLECTION WITH SERGIO TACCHINI IN PARIS

by Stephen Garner

Italian sportswear brand Sergio Tacchini has teamed up with West Coast luxury streetwear brand Stampd to launch an exclusive collaboration at Paris Fashion Week.

Inclusive of apparel, accessories, and an updated, limited edition run of the Prime Shot sneaker, the capsule blends Stampd’s iconic monochromatic and minimal design with Tacchini’s deep design roots in pro-tennis athletic wear.

Made famous by 1987 Wimbledon champion Pat Cash, The Prime Shot sneaker stands at the heart of the collaboration. The redesign uses mesh material symbolic of tennis court nets and is embellished with zipper detailing on the outer side of the shoe. The tongue is subtly branded with the Stampd logo, with Sergio Tacchini present on the side of sneaker.

Complimenting the sneaker is a 5-piece apparel collection in black and white, characterized by typographical artwork and branding. The collection includes the Grille Track Jacket and Dedans Track pant to be work as separates or as a complete look. The Hazard Tee in black and white includes printed specs for authenticity whereas the penthouse hoodie in black is produced with contrasting logo design embroidered at the center chest.

The capsule will be launched on the international market this weekend during Paris men’s fashion week, with a pop-up store opening its doors on January 18 through 20 in the city’s Le Marais neighborhood. Customers in the U.S. can get their hands on the collection at stampd.com starting January 25 at 11:00am PST.
