STAPLE X NETFLIX PRESENT “OUT SICK”

by John Russel Jones

Jeff Staple has been a mainstay in the streetwear business for more than 25 years, with his own brand, Staple, as well as his creative agency Reed Art Department. Between the two he’s worked with brands as diverse as Nike, Coca-Cola, Timberland, Google, and Champion.

Now you can feel free to blame the designer for that rash of employees using up their PTO: “Out Sick,” a collaboration between Staple and Netflix, features a capsule of loungewear essentials perfect for spending the day snuggled up in front of the television binging on “Stranger Things,” “Bridgerton,” or finally making it all the way through “All Quiet on the Western Front.”

The collection includes a satin jacket ($150), a sherpa top ($110) and bottom ($100), as well as a robe, hat, hoodie, T-shirts, socks, and a blanket. (What, no popcorn?) The whole collection will be available at StaplePigeon.com on Thursday, just in time for that next wave of COVID/flu/food poisoning (“bad clams!”).
