In honor of Veterans Day, Stein Mart will introduce its latest chain-wide charitable program, “Give Back to Our Veterans,” to support VA Voluntary Service (VAVS) and help the country’s veterans facing homelessness.

Starting on November 3, shoppers can contribute to the effort by purchasing a new package of underwear or socks at any Stein Mart location, which will be donated to VAVS and distributed to veterans across the country. Participating customers will also receive a coupon for 25 percent off any single sale item.

VAVS is one of the largest centralized volunteer programs in the federal government, and connects homeless and at-risk veterans with housing solutions, health care, community employment services and other additional needs.

“Stein Mart is proud to give back to those who have served this great country and sacrificed their lives to protect ours,” CEO and chairman of the board Jay Stein said in a statement. “This event is just a small way to show our deep gratitude and most importantly, to support our veterans in need.”
