STENSTRÖMS NAMES ADAM SITZMANN VP OF SALES AS COMPANY CONTINUES SALES GROWTH
Swedish premium shirt brand Stenströms has hired industry expert Adam Sitzmann as its new VP of Sales. Sitzmann will oversee the accounts in the Central States in the U.S., as well as special national sales initiatives.
He joins the company from U.K.-based outerwear brand Barbour, where he served as territory sales manager and senior key account executive since 2011.
“I have admired Stenströms from their initial launch,” said Sitzman. “The company has a true commitment to quality, value, and service. I am excited to be part of the team that will take this brand to the next level.”
This news comes at a time when Stenströms is seeing much success in the industry, with having just closed its third year of exponential sales growth. “We have in addition to seasonal orders an exceptional re-order business,” reported Anders Hjarne, president of Stenströms U.S. “This tells us that increasingly customers are favoring Stenströms. It is the perfect time to add dynamic sales and marketing professional like Adam Sitzmann. We are more than thrilled to have him on board.”
Today, Stenströms has 1,500 accounts worldwide, and 200 accounts in North America with such top-notch American retailers as MartinPatrick3 in Minneapolis, Gary’s in Newport Beach, Syd Jerome in Chicago, and Mr. B Clothing in Des Moines.
