Take A Peek At The Bloc’s Latest Stylish Upgrades In DTLA
We’ve been tracking the progress of The Bloc’s fashionable facelift for quite some time, and it looks the the DTLA development is nearly ready for its stylish reveal. Originally set to debut its new directory last fall, the former Macy’s Plaza has unveiled even more upgrades. In addition to rolling out a slew of updates at its anchor tenant Macy’s, the pedestrian-friendly open-air center has planted faux grass and revealed bright new lighting for its underground Metro stop. The $180 million renovations also include menswear mecca Wingtip, concept boutique Free Market (a retail collab by the fine folks behind Alchemy Works and Otto Design Group), retro playthings shop Mr. G Toys, hi-tech lifestyle store BrandWalk, and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, to name a few.
