The clothes you wear say a lot about you. Of course, the look and feel are important. But, arguably, even more so is what the brand you’re wearing stands for. And a new report highlights that while fashion brands may talk the talk when it comes to ethics and sustainability, many do not walk the walk.
The 2022 Fashion Transparency Index, released in July by Fashion Revolution, reveals that the majority of major fashion brands – a staggering 96 percent – do not disclose the number of workers in its supply chains that are being paid a living wage. Read more at The Independent.
