Luxury consignment retailer The RealReal has opened its first concept store on the West Coast.
The Los Angeles store, located at 8500 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, is 12,000 square-feet and includes a separate 5,500 square-foot men’s store. The retailer’s first-ever men’s store features a sneakerdome, a watch bar with rare watches, and a suiting and tailoring area.
The concept store will encompass The RealReal’s entire brand offering from selling one-of-a-kind luxury goods to accepting consignment and giving consumers the opportunity to meet face-to-face with its world class luxury experts.
The store boasts a 1,500 square-foot vault with wall-to-wall luxury handbags, curbside consignment drop-off, and a cafe serving up fresh juices, snacks and coffee.
Via the Luxury Consignment Office, The RealReal’s team of expert gemologists, horologists and authentication specialists are available – in-store and by appointment – for complementary fine jewelry, watch, and handbag valuations. Curbside and in-store consignment drop-offs will also be offered.
“With the continued success of our SoHo flagship and pop-up shops, we’re excited to expand our brick-and-mortar footprint and give The RealReal another permanent home – on the West Coast,” saidJulie Wainwright, founder and CEO of The RealReal. “We’re excited to give shoppers and consignors in LA and surrounding areas access to our omni-channel business, unique brick-and-mortar experience and services, and team of experts.”
