I am a conference buff. And while swag like pretty socks and thingamajigs are nice, conferences are a great way to get a sense of what’s happening and where things are headed. This year, I spent three days braving the cold winter of New York City walking between workshops and booths at the NRF 19: Retail’s Big Show. My company was invited as an analyst to take a peek into the future of retail. I must say that my craving for a slice of the future got satiated. While there is so much to take in from a conference that runs for three days, I am going to focus on the concept of the physical store.
