The Young Watchmaker Who’s On A Quest To Make A Genuinely American-Made Watch
A California-based watch brand with plans to create a fully American-made watch is getting very close to achieving its ambitious goal. And to commemorate its progress towards this milestone, Weiss Watch Company has released its first gold watch: an 18K solid-gold version of the brand’s flagship field watch, available with either a white or black dial.

Because over the past few years, Cameron Weiss, the founder and watchmaker behind WWC, has been manufacturing more and more of his watches’ components in-house—machining cases, case-backs, crowns, even buckles, with almost all of the assembly taking place entirely under one roof.
