THIERRY LASRY CELEBRATES NEW COLLABORATION WITH BARBIE IN NEW YORK

French luxury eyewear brand Thierry Lasry and the world’s number one fashion doll Barbie celebrated the launch of their new collaborative collection at Scarpetta in New York City on Tuesday night. The limited-edition collection launched this month as part of Barbie’s year-long 60th-anniversary celebrations.

The collection introduces special doll and sunglass sets and includes one Ken box and three Barbie options to choose from. The sunglasses, designed with an inherently Thierry Lasry retro-futuristic sensibility feature two exclusive designs. Each of the sunglasses are handmade in France and retail for $495.

The Thierry Lasry x Barbie sunglasses include the “Glamy” and “Galaxy” frames in two colorways each. The “Glamy” style frames created for Barbie are an elegant oversized cat-eye and “Galaxy” is a thick and bold rectangular style for Ken.

The collection is available now on thierrylasry.com as well as Bergdorf Goodman, Selfridges, The Webster and several exclusive accounts already carrying the Thierry Lasry brand.
