Timbuk2, the California-based company known for its bags and accessories that are popular with bicyclists, will open two New York City flagship stores this year. On Saturday, October 15, the store at 325 Lafayette Street in Manhattan will debut, while another store, at 214 Berry Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is scheduled to open by the end of 2016.

Both spaces will showcase Timbuk2’s entire product line of more than 100 styles of bags and accessories, Factory 2 (an innovative and interactive in-store bag customizer), and collaborative events for the neighborhood and a complimentary bike share program.  In addition, there will be a special New York collaboration with a soon-to-be-announced legendary street artist.

“With these two stores, we are creating an inviting space where people can lock up their bikes, put their bags down, create a truly personalized bag, and not only educate themselves on the products, but on life on a bike,” said CEO Patti Cazzato. “Our stores are our way of showing our commitment and dedication to the city cycling culture in both Manhattan and Brooklyn.”
