Tom Ford’s $75 Million Ranch Is As Ridiculous And Perfect As You Think
Some rich guys have mansions. Other rich guys have architecturally important compounds in the middle of the picturesque New Mexico desert. Tom Ford falls pretty squarely into that second category. The fashion designer and film director recently listed his ranch, located in the Galisteo Basin right outside of Santa Fe, for $75 million. That figure would be pretty steep if all you were getting were a house—but this property is more than just a house. In addition to a main dwelling designed by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando, the compound also includes stables that can support eight horses, two riding rings (one indoor and one outdoor, naturally), a reflecting pool, a tennis court, two guest houses, accommodation for both staff and ranch hands, and a home and separate office building for a ranch manager.
