Tommy Bahama made the top spot on Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Retailers 2024, ranking #1 in the apparel category. Newsweek has also recognized the brand in the best customer service category for the last two years.

Newsweek and Statista Inc., the statistics portal and industry ranking provider present the “America’s Best Retailers 2024” list. Honorees were identified based on the results of an independent survey of more than 9,000 U.S. customers who have shopped at the retail stores in-person in the past three years. In total, over 140,000 evaluations were collected. This year’s list was announced on July 19, 2024.

Other menswear retailers on the apparel list included Lands’ End, American Eagle Outfitters, Zara, and Old Navy. Von Maur and Bloomingdale’s earned the top spots for department stores.

The final assessment and rankings were based on the likelihood of recommendation and five evaluation criteria, which included quality and variety of product, friendliness, and efficiency of customer service, as well as overall design of the stores, including layout, accessibility, and atmosphere.

“We’re honored to be named to the list of America’s Best Retailers. At Tommy Bahama, the guest experience and authentic hospitality are our top priorities,” said Chrisann Furciato, Executive Vice President of Retail, eCommerce and Licensing, Tommy Bahama. “The experience you have when you walk into our stores is important to us — we feel as if we are inviting you into our home.
