Tommy Bahama to Sell Maui Jim Sunglasses at its Retail Stores
For the first time, Tommy Bahama stores will stock an outside brand: Maui Jim, maker of polarized sunglasses, has made an exclusive retail partnership with the company.
“Tommy Bahama is happy to be selling Maui Jim sunglasses in our retail stores and online,” said Tommy Bahama president and COO Doug Wood. “It’s a real first for us to be selling any product other than our own branded (or co-branded) styles and we’re proud to have Maui Jim on board.”
Added Jay Black, VP of global marketing for Maui Jim, “It’s not often that two brands are as perfectly paired as Maui Jim and Tommy Bahama.”
Tommy Bahama stores will carry men’s and women’s Maui Jim sunglasses in four lens materials and four different lens colors for a retail range of $169 to $339.
Maui Jim was founded in Hawaii in 1980.
Seattle-based Tommy Bahama, a subsidiary of Oxford Industries, operates about 150 retail stores around the world.
