TOMMY HILFIGER RELEASES TAILORED COLLECTION WITH LARDINI

by Stephen Garner

Tommy Hilfiger has released its first tailoring collaboration with Lardini.

The new spring 2021 Tommy x Lardini Tailored Collection sees a reimagined fit range with a strong focus on soft and unconstructed workmanship. Unique stripe variations make their debut, from refined and elevated pinstripes to contrast 3-D stripes and bold, denim optic block stripes. The collection is made exclusively from the high-quality fabrics of Italian weavers, including summery cotton denim, linen blends, and luxury essentials in fine wool and wool blends.

Unconstructed, unlined, garment-dyed blazers and matching pants feature lightweight and natural TH Flex technology. Refined details run throughout the range, from Horn-inspired and mother-of-pearl buttons to the eye-catching lapel pin on every blazer featuring the signature Tommy Hilfiger flag logo fused with the timeless Lardini flower.

This collection comes as the duo inked a licensing deal last year for Lardini to design, produce and distribute Tommy Hilfiger tailored suits, jackets, and trousers in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions.

Since 2017, tailored clothing has been managed under license in the U.S. by American apparel manufacturer and menswear specialist Peerless Clothing.
