URBAN OUTFITTERS DEBUTS ITS FIRST IN-HOUSE TECH PRODUCTS

Urban Outfitters TechPennsylvania-based retailer Urban Outfitters (UO) has announced the launch of UO_TUNE_IN, the retailer’s first-ever in-house tech line. The fall 2018 UO_TUNE_IN collection is a lo-fi-meets-modern hybrid, with each product created in tandem with a top tech factory that updates go-to tech accessories in contemporary colors and shapes. The collection is inspired by current tech trends while remaining influenced in past design with a retro palette, co-mingling sleek grays and blacks with ’70s earth tones.

The collection consists of four pieces in total – a compact, coiled USB travel charger; an ellipse-like portable power bank; a circular power strip; and a cassette boombox with Bluetooth capabilities. Each piece is designed with innovative function, signature soft-touch matte casing, fresh colors and are only available at the retailer. Prices range from $24 to $99.

Urban Outfitter TechThe UO_TUNE_IN product is now available on urbanoutfitters.com and within select Urban Outfitters stores across North America on November 6. The campaign will live across all UO social and web platforms with UO_TUNE_IN point of purchase displays in select U.S. and Canadian stores.

Additionally, UO has partnered with Sub Pop Records to produce an exclusive cassette mixtape to celebrate the November in-store launch of UO_TUNE_IN. The mixtape will be gifted with in-store UO_TUNE_IN purchases.
