VINCE EXPANDS ITS SUBSCRIPTION RENTAL SERVICE
Vince is expanding its subscription rental service, called “Vince Unfold,” to include men’s apparel. This launch marks the first contemporary label to give complete access to its apparel assortment via rental. With Vince Unfold and Borrow, Vince now offers the most comprehensive rental experience of any other contemporary brand.
Since 2018 Vince Unfold has provided users with access to the brand’s women’s collection for $160 per month for an unlimited 4-garment plan, with the option to keep and purchase any favorite items at a discount. For the launch of men’s, the pricing structure and plan will remain the same, giving users access to both collections for the same flat monthly fee. All Unfold subscriptions still include free priority shipping, unlimited exchanges and returns, and complimentary laundering services.
“We’re thrilled to announce the addition of men’s apparel to Vince Unfold, as this, coupled with Borrow, will create the most flexible and inclusive rental experience for our customer,” said Jack Schwefel, chief executive officer at Vince. “As we return to a modicum of normalcy, we anticipate the demand for rental to continue to grow and the introduction of men’s to the Unfold program will help us appeal to the widest audience possible.”
Powered by CaaStle, Vince Unfold and its counterpart Borrow, provide the ultimate in flexibility during this transitional time allowing customers to seamlessly toggle between traditional retail, monthly subscription, and no-commitment rental. Whether back to the office, working from home, or a hybrid of the two, Vince customers can tailor their shopping experience to fit their individual fashion needs.
“Expanding the Vince Unfold subscription rental program to include both the women’s and men’s collection creates a compelling new way for current and new consumers to experience the brand,” added Christine Hunsicker, founder and CEO of CaaStle. “Vince was an early adopter of women’s subscription rental, as well as one of our first partners to launch one-time rental through Borrow, and we are excited about expanding our relationship with such an innovative partner into the men’s category.”
